PHP WEB DEVELOPER
Always wanted to make a lasting impact? To lead on a creative web project that is truly yours? We need someone with the requisite development and creative skills to do just that. To recreate our current site on Magento Enterprise platform. Someone who will take real joy and pride in helping sustain our current growth rate through an excellent new website.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of a new Microscope.com on Magento Enterprise platform
- Architect a solution that is scalable, easily manageable, stable and optimized for best performance over various devices and platforms including responsive mobile
- Hand code HTML/CSS protoype templates within Magento Enterprise
- Development of custom modules/plug ins, cross browser compatibility testing
- Site re-launch
Requirements
- Computer Science or related degree from an accredited university
- 3-5+ years professional development experience in object oriented programming languages
- Demonstrable portfolio in PHP environments
- 3-5 years programming in MySQL including MySQL 5
- Strong skills and experience in Photoshop and/or Illustrator
- Expert knowledge of XHTML and CSS2 with a firm grasp of HTML5/CSS3
- Expert knowledge of Javascript and jQuery
- Experience with AJAX, XML and JSON data formats and an understanding of developing within a MVC architecture
- Experience with mobile web development utilizing CSS3 techniques to target specific devices
- Knowledge of SEO and front-end optimization
- Extremely comfortable with cross-browser compatibility/testing with the ability to build a highly interactive site that works flawlessly in all the major browsers including mobile

Love taking to bright, personable customers? Passionate about delivering better service than anyone else? Good sense of humor? This is the easiest form of sales and we are looking for someone with all these quality to handle incoming sales calls. You will speak with a wonderful selection of customers that range from NASA engineers to Nursery School teachers.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming sales calls and help guide customers to the right product for their application
- Create timely quotes and follow up
- Convert into sales
