Summary

The Dino-Lite AD4113TL-MSFCMA1 package offers all the features of our extended working distance AD "L" series, along with the ability to view surfaces at a 90-degree angle to the microscope axis. This makes it ideal for hard-to-reach areas and limited bore-scope capability. It includes MicroTouch image capture, measuring capability with calibration slide, removable nozzles and USB 2.0 output. It is PC, MAC and UVC compatible.

90-Degree Viewing Adapter

This handy attachment works with the AD4113TL Dino Lite and the AD412NTL Dino Lite with TV ouptut.  The adaptor’s patented design includes a 45º inclined mirror that provides a 90° view with an optimal magnification range of 40x-80x and the ability to look around obstacles, underneath circuit boards or into objects and surfaces.

The nozzle has a tapered, conical design and easily rotates through 360 degrees. In other words, it is a limited range, right-angle mirror which enables viewing access into recessed, hard-to-reach areas. This makes it ideal for pc motherboard inspection, soldering inspections and manufacturing quality assurance programs.

The MSFCMA1 can also function as an economic alternative for limited depth borescope inspection duties. In recessed areas of at least 10mm diameter, the attachment can reach to a depth of 36mm; at 7.5mm diameter, the attachment can reach 21mm deep.

When right-angle inspection work is finished, the attachment can be removed, restoring your Dino-Lite microscope to its original functionality.

AD4113 Series Features

The AD4113 family of Dino-Lites incorporate an improved 1.3MP CMOS sensor with richer color rendering and more accurate white balance compensation. Professional imaging results can be viewed on any computer via high speed USB 2.0 output and the included DinoCapture (for PC) or DinoXcope (for MAC) software. In addition, the series offers MicroTouch image capture and 8 software-controlled white LEDs which can be switched on and off to adapt for changing lighting conditions.

This updated series also features a second-generation housing with a smoother focus wheel movement and a handy thumb wheel scroll lock.  Once your magnification is set, slide the tab to the "Lock" position to secure the thumb-wheel. This keeps your image in sharp focus without further effort, a real time-saver when handling the microscope during repetitive observations. In addition, the USB cable is reinforced for improved durability and protection.

The series comes with a standard open-face nozzle, a polarization nozzle for the 'Z' series and a sealed transparent nozzle designed to protect the microscope from dust, debris and moisture. You also have 6mm of increased working distance with the nozzle removed. With the cap removed, the AD4113 can zoom from 10x to 220x (10x~92x for 'L' series) and anywhere in between for maximum versatility. Simply dial in your desired magnification, then adjust the vertical height until the image comes into clear focus. This technique works best when used with a rigid Dino-Lite stand, such as the MS34B-R2, MS35B, or MS36B.

DinoScope Software

Dino-Lite USB 2.0 software is compatible with both PC (DinoCapture 2.0) and Mac (DinoXcope) computers. We have found the software to be robust and reliable. It enables image capture, video and time lapse video while measuring capabilities include linear and geometric as well as circular and point-to-line. Notations can be added and edited. You can capture an image by clicking in the easy-to-use software or, on T models, simply tap the button on the housing. It is worth noting that the color resolution is excellent due to the fixed white-balance calibration which is set at the factory using a jeweler's color balance. Finally, the software enables frame import or export, notations and output to BMP and JPG.

DinoVision Software

There is also additional, FREE software available for download: DinoVision enables easy image drag-and-drop, split, overlay and comparison, which has proven useful for Forensic Scientists and more sophisticated users where image manipulation is important.
