Summary

The Dino-Lite AD7013MT offers 10x~240x zoom magnification and 5.0MP of imaging power, encased within an aluminum alloy shell with a color CMOS sensor, MicroTouch image capture, measuring capability with calibration slide, removable nozzles and USB 2.0 output. It is PC, MAC and UVC compatible.

5.0MP Resolution Camera

The AD7013MT is one of our most refined models, incorporating a robust 5.0MP CMOS sensor featuring finely-tuned white balance compensation, delivering images rich with color and an unmatched level of detail. This makes it the ideal tool for documentation and publication requirements by PCB assembly line inspections, paint quality inspections or metal failure analysis studies.

AD7013 Series Features

The AD7013 family of Dino-Lites all feature an aluminum alloy shell encasing a 5.0mp CMOS sensor. Research-quality imaging results can be viewed on any computer via high speed USB 2.0 output and the included DinoCapture (for PC) or DinoXcope (for MAC) software. In addition, the series offers MicroTouch image capture and 8 software-controlled white LEDs which can be switched on and off to adapt for changing lighting conditions.

The series includes a standard open-face nozzle, a polarization nozzle for the 'Z' series and a sealed transparent nozzle designed to protect the microscope from damaging dust, debris and moisture. You also have 6mm of increased working distance with the nozzle removed.

With the cap removed, the AD7013 can zoom from 10x to 240x (10x~92x for 'L' series) and anywhere in between for maximum versatility. Simply dial in your desired magnification, then adjust the vertical height until the image comes into clear focus. This technique works best when used with a rigid Dino-Lite stand, such as the MS34B-R2, MS35B, or MS36B.

DinoScope Software

Dino-Lite USB 2.0 software is compatible with both PC (DinoCapture 2.0) and Mac (DinoXcope) computers. We have found the software to be robust and reliable. It enables image capture, video and time lapse video while measuring capabilities include linear and geometric as well as circular and point-to-line. Notations can be added and edited. You can capture an image by tapping the space bar on your keyboard or, on T models, simply tap the button on the housing. 

DinoVision Software

There is also additional, FREE software available for download: DinoVision enables easy image drag-and-drop, split, overlay and comparison, which has proven useful for Forensic Scientists and more sophisticated users where image manipulation is important.

The new MSVC72W WiFi adapter turns any Dino-Lite USB-enabled microscope into a portable inspection station, streaming images or live video to an iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, Android tablet or wireless computer. The onboard battery pack offers up to 6 hours of service and you can network with up to 10 devices at once, from up to 50 feet away. Adapter shown, sold separately.

For PC Users

The 5 megapixel Dino-Lite models require the third-party MJPEG codec to be installed. DinoCapture will check for the MJPEG codec and display an alert if it is missing. Because of the higher hardware demands, the frame rate will depend on the resources available to the system.

For MAC Users
