Summary

The 1.3MP Dino-Lite AM413ZTAS offers 10x~50x, and 220x variable magnification and 6mm working distance with built-in polarization. Other features include measuring software, the new scroll-lock capability to fix magnification and the touch trigger common to all T models. It is PC and MAC compatible.

Features

The AM413ZTAS is designed to achieve 55x or 215x at 6.5mm and or 85x-145x when touching the specimen. Beyond that, you can achieve 10x-40x at 6.0"-0.4" working distance. Built-in variable cross polarization reduces the glare from more reflective surfaces and creates a more uniform surface detail for inspection applications.

The polarization system can be turned On/Off or adjusted to offer full or half polarization for maximum flexibility.

The scroll lock is another useful addition to this model in that it enables you to fix the level of magnification so you can return to the precise same level of magnification on, for example, different specimens. Simply slide the scroll wheel tab to the 'Lock' position.

Standard features include included image capture and documentation for still images, live and time lapse video, measuring software, touch trigger mechanism, 8 white LED lights (On/Off) and high speed USB 2.0 output. These newer models also include a reinforced USB cable for improved durability and protection.

Stands

DIno-Lite offer a wide range of stands, which are recommended for all but the lowest magnification levels. For your convenience, we have selected some of the more popular stands for this microscope. Simply select one above which are offered as optional items above.

Dino-Lite includes software for both PC (DinoCapture 2.0) and Mac (DinoXcope) computers. PC software is compatible through WIndows 8 and Mac through OSX 10.5 and later. We have found the software to be robust and reliable with some great features as follows: image capture, storage and email, live (up to 30fps) and time lapse video, linear and geometric measuring, annotation, geotagging, full screen capability, auto and manual exposure control, picture within picture zoom (magnifier) and more. Above all the color resolution is excellent due to fixed white-balance calibration which is set at the factory using a jeweler's color balance. Finally, the software enables frame import or export, notations and output to multiple popular formats including BMP and JPG. Included calibration slide, cradle stand and deluxe bag.

DinoVision Software

There is also additional, FREE software available for download: DinoVision enables easy image drag-and-drop, split, overlay and comparison, which has proven useful for Forensic Scientists and more sophisticated users where image manipulation is important.
