The Dino-Eye microscope cameras are produced by the same manufacturer as the Dino-Lite handheld digital microscopes. As with the Dino-Lite microscopes, the software is easy to use and characterized by remarkably accurate color resolution for such an affordable camera.

The Dino-Eye AM4023 offers excellent image brightness, color rendition and clarity while allowing the operator to preview, record and save images which would otherwise be lost under difficult, low-lighting conditions.

In addition, having a digital eyepiece makes a traditional microscope much easier to use, and it is ideally suited as a teaching tool, for digital imaging documentation, or simply to relieve tired eyes on those long hours viewing into a microscope.

The AM4023 comes with a 30mm C-mount adapters to fit a wide variety of microscopes. In addition, there are 4 other versions of the AM4023 USB 2.0 model designed to fit different oculars:

• AM4023X - fits 23.2mm, 30mm, 30.5mm eyetubes with included adapters
  
• AM4023XC - fits 23.2mm, 30mm and C-Mount with included adapters
• AM4023CT - fits any optical device capable of accepting a C-mount camera
• AM423U - fits over 35mm eyepiece, eliminating the need for an adapter

DinoCapture Software

The DinoCapture software is easy to use, intuitive and with included measuring software. The software enables full-speed, live imaging at 640 x 480 resolution and image capture of still photographs, video or time-lapse. DinoCapture permits drawing, live text editing and measuring. 

Measuring Software

The measuring function allows the user to input the magnification value from the microscope's zoom control and then measure the length, angle, and circumference of the specimen. Both linear and geometric measurements can be captured quickly and easily. For more accurate measurements, the software can be calibrated using a known scale (such as a ruler).

For MAC Users

When finished with your editing and analysis, Mac users can save and share image and video files in PNG, JPEC and MOV file formats. Software updates and improvements are also available at no cost from our website.
