The Dino-Lite AD4013TL digital microscope answers the call for longer working distance in a handheld microscope. It's very imilar to the AM4013T model but with enhanced working distance and an interchangeable nozzle.

The advantages are twofold: first you can achieve working distance of over 6". Second, the interchangeable nose cone detachs so that an oblique viewer or other accessories can be added - including custom designs to a given specification!

This Dino-Lite AD4013TL version is also available with a metal alloy shell, suitable for more rugged environments. We regret that the manufacturer will not permit us to display prices for this AD4013ML model. Please call for pricing on this ruggedized model.

Features
The resolution is high at 1280x1024 and this model includes a 1.3 megapixel camera, Microtouch trigger (not available on the AM4013ML) and measurement tool. Its 8 LED lights provide strong, clean lighting as required. The combination make these industrial microscopes versatile and affordable options for inspection applications.

Color Resolution and Measurement Function
It is worth noting that the color resolution is better than most digital cameras owing to the fixed white-balance calibration that is set at the factory using a jeweler's color balance. The measurement function allows the user to input the magnification value from the microscope's zoom control, and directly measure the length, angle, and circumference of the object in view.

Magnification
It is also easy to use. Simply hook it up to your computer via the USB 2.0 connection, load the included (and intuitive), DinoCapture software and enjoy the live image. A thumb dial enables the zoom magnification. (See magnification and working distances above.) You can achieve various magnifications by changing the distance between the microscope and the object you're viewing.

DinoCapture

When you want to capture an image, click the button on your mouse or, on these Microtouch models, simply tap the trigger pad on the end of the microscope. The Dino-Lite software also captures real-time and time-lapse video, great for scientific research or educational instruction.

When finished with your editing, annotation and measurement analysis, Windows users can save and share files in BMP, TIF, PNG, TIF and JPEG formats.

For MAC Users:

When finished with your editing, measurement and analysis, Mac users can save and share image and video files in PNG, JPEC and MOV file formats. Software updates and improvements are also available at no cost from our website.
