MSFC-MA1 Right-Angle Attachment Viewer
The adaptor’s patented design includes a 45º inclined mirror that provides a 90 degree, view with an optimal magnification range of 40x-80x and the ability to look behind, over, under or into objects and surfaces.
The nozzle has a tapered, conical design and easily rotates through 360 degrees. In other words, it is a limited range, right-angle borescope that enables viewing access into difficult to reach recessed areas. In recessed areas of at least 10mm width, the attachment can reach to a depth of 36mm; at 7.5mm width, the tapered shape of the attachment limits the depth to which the nozzle will penetrate to 21mm deep.
Unsuprisingly, this combined package is proving popualr for electronics' inspection application including solder rework inspection as well as a broader array of industrial design/inspection and QA applications.

In summary, the new AD4013TL is similar to the AM4013T model but with enhanced working distance and an interchangeable nozzle. At 20x, a useful 6.0" working distance can be achieved. The microscope comes standard with two nozzles - one open-faced, one closed, while this special package includes the MSFC-MA1 right-angle attachment.
The resolution is high at 1280x1024 and this model includes a 1.3 megapixel camera, Microtouch trigger (not available on the AM413ML) and measuring sotware. Its 8 LED lights provide strong, clean lighting as required. The combination make these industrial microscopes versatile and affordable options for inspection applications.
