Made with solid components, the Darkfield Plate will accommodate most Omano stereo microscopes with halogen base lighting. It re-directs the light to allow a specimen to be illuminated against a dark background. Excellent for jewelers, biologists and gemologists desiring an enhanced view.
The Jeweler's Clip provides a means of supporting your specimen over the Darkfield Plate allowing the specimen to "float" in the re-directed base light. The unit contains an iris diaphragm for light control. A hole may need to be tapped and threaded on some microscope bases to secure the jeweler's clip.
Fits Omano 4400, 4700, and 4900 series bases, including but not limited to the OM2344, OM3344, OM9949, OM4713, OM4724, and variants.
