This is a classic Meiji boom inspection microscope system. It includes the venerable EMZ5 microscope body with either the S4100 single arm, boom stand or the extended working distance, S-4200 boom stand. We have configured it with both binocular and trinocular options and also with a choice of three focus blocks.

For customers who require extended working distance, select the S-4200 option which stands 24" tall (610mm) compared to 15.74" (400mm) for the the S-4100.

EMZ5 Microscope Body
The EMZ5 microscope body, which can rotate  360º includes a 0.7x-45x zoom range, 6.5:1 zoom ratio and has a standard working distance of 93mm. Wit the addition of auxiliary barlow lenses, the working distance range can be extended from 34mm-251mm.

The eyetubes have dual diopters with an interpupillary adjustment of 54-75mm. We offer a choice of five different pairs of eyepieces: 5x, 10x, 12.5x, 15x, 20x, all with eyecups.  However, please call for more specialist eyepieces.

Focus Block
We have configued this microscope with a choice of three focus blocks. The standard F block with coarse focusing control (shown in the images at right), the FC block that has both coarse/fine coaxial focus controls and the FX block which has an illuminator port for a baypnet light.

Microscope Stand
The S-4100 boom stand is solidly built and measures 265mm x 265mm x 25mm. It has a 530mm long horizontal arm and a pole that is 510mm high (15.74"). For those who require greater working distance, the S-4200 is identical in every respect except that the vertical pole is 600m tall (24").

The FX focus block has an illuminator port for a bayonet light (MA264/100) which many inspection customers find useful.

The microscope is sold with Meiji Techno's limited lifetime warranty.
