The GEMT-4 is designed for professional jewlers and gemologists. It includes Meiji's EMT-4 dual-power stereo microscope body with a professional GEM stand. The stand is illuminated with a 30W tungsten darkfield light built in to the base and a fluorescent box attached via an articulating arm to provide incident illumination.
The microscope body has 1x and 4x objectives, rotates 360º for convenient viewing options, and has a maximum working distance of 63 mm without an auxiliary Barlow lens. With the included 10x and 20x eyepieces, you can achieve magnification settings of 10x, 20x, 40x, and 80x. With optional eyepieces (5x, 12.5x, 15x, or 30x), you can achieve magnification settings ranging from 5x to 120x, without the corresponding cost of a zoom microscope.
The GEMT-4’s left eyetube has dioptric adjustment for convenient focusing of both eyes, and the eyepieces have an interpupillary adjustment range of 54-75 mm to adjust comfortably to the distance between your eyes. The inclinable stand includes a gem clamp.
