The GEMZ-5-SVH is designed for professional jewlers and gemologists. It includes Meiji's EMZ-5 zoom stereo microscope body with a professional GEM stand. The stand is illuminated with a 30W tungsten darkfield light built in to the base and a fluorescent box attached via an articulating arm to provide incident illumination. In addition, the SVH stand swivels for greater ease of showing gems.
The microscope body has a 0.7x-4.5x zoom range, rotates 360º for convenient viewing options, and has a maximum working distance of 93 mm without an auxiliary Barlow lens. With the included 10x and 20x eyepieces, you can achieve magnification ranging from 7x to 90x. With optional eyepieces (5x, 12.5x, 15x, or 30x), you can achieve magnification ranging from 3.5x to 135x. The left eyetube has dioptric adjustment for convenient focusing of both eyes, and the eyepieces have an interpupillary adjustment range of 54-75 mm to adjust to the distance between your eyes. The inclinable stand includes a gem clamp.

The base includes a black/white reversible stage plate with two stage clips. Additionally, the microscope is available in trinocular format with a beam splitter so that you can operate the trinocular port and right eyetube simultaneously.
