The Meiji MT5210 and MT5310 are phase contrast models of the new MT5200 series biological microscopes. represent a significant step-up in the quality of Meiji's biological microscopes over the MT4000 series. They are now laboratory quality. The microscope body uses Meiji Techno's Infinity Corrected Optical System (ICOS) and has U.Plan Phase Ph10x, Ph20x, Ph40x, and Ph100x objectives. With the included Super Widefield High Eyepoint 10x eyepieces, you can achieve magnifications of 100x, 200x, 400x, and 1000x. You can also extend that range by choosing optional 15x or 20x eyepieces.

The Seidentopf viewing head is inclined at an ergonomic 30º and has dioptric adjustment for convenient focusing of both eyes. The eyepieces have an interpupillary adjustment range of 53-75 mm to adjust comfortably to the distance between your eyes. The MT5000 series is available in either 30W halogen or white LED illumination and in the trinocular format, there is an 80/20 beam splitter so that you can operate the trinocular port and right eyetube simultaneously with 80% light directed to the trinocula rport.
