  • Infinity Corrected Optics
  • Koehler & Epi-Fluorescent Illumination
  • Semi Apochromat  Plan Objectives
  • Super Widefield High Eyepoint Eyepieces
  • Binocular or Trinocular

The MT6000 epi-fluorescent laboratory microscope is a versatile microscope. It includes configurations for brightfield and epi-fluorescence while also offering phase contrast, darkfield and polarizing options. This flexibiliity combined with Meiji's infinity corrected optical system (ICOS) accounts for its growing popularity among educational and clinical customers.

In conjunction witht ICOS, the optics include: semi apochramat plan objectives (F4x, F10, F40x, F100x oil) with super wide field, high eyepoint 10x eyepieces (FN 22, ø30mm). The epi-fluorescent illuminator is composed of a modular six position illuminator attachment with six positions for filter cubes, one Basic Blue excitation filter cube, one Basic Green excitation cube, one U excitation cube and 3 empty positions. The blue and green filters are designed for viewing a single fluorochrome and the green filter is recommended for use with mercury lamps only. Transmitted Koehler illumination is provided by a strong 30W halogen lamp. NB: Please call to special order additional filter sets.

A large ceramic-coated stage measures191mm x 149mm with an X-Y movement range of 80mm x 52mm. The stage has right hand, drop down coaxial controls for instinctive operation. Also included is a N.A 1.25 Abbe condenser with filter tray and dove tail mount. Options include a Zernike phase with centerable phase annuli for 10x, 20x, 40x, 100x with brightfield position, darkfield stop for 40x objective, black-out position for epi-fluorescence with iris in dovetail mount. Zernike planachromatic objectives are also available as are a range of U.plan and fluoresence objectives.

For photmicrography purposes, the trinocular version has an 80/20 beam splitter. This enables all three ports to be used simultaneously with 80% of the light directed through the trinocular port. These microscopes are manufactured under the strict guidelines established under ISO 9001:2000 Standards. They are sold with Meiji Techno's limited lifetime warranty.

The Meiji line of microscopes offers more than 40 different stands, as well as a number of other options. Call our microscope professionals toll free at (877) 409-3556 for information on configuring a microscope to suit your application.
