Meiji MT9900 - Incident/Transmitted Polarizing Microscope
price:   $6,714.00
Available Options:
Microscope:

  • Koehler 30W Halogen Transmitted & Vertical Incident Illumination
  • Infinity Corrected Optical System
  • Strain-free S.Plan Optics
  • Brightfield and Polarized Light Observation Modes

The MT9000 series is Meiji's new range of polarizing microscopes. With better infinity corrected optics (ICOS) than the older ML series, the MT series offer the latest in design and optics. As with the ML series, this new range also includes the focusing Bertrand Lens for much improved interference figures.

The microscopes are vaialble in binocular or trinocular versions. They include strain free DIN Plan objectives (4x, 10x, S40x) in a centerable, quadruple nosepiece that has a ball-bearing mount for smooth operation. There are three centerable apertures and one fixed aperture.

The microscope viewing head is Seidentopf, inclined at an ergonomic 30º and includes one KHW-10x compensating eyepiece (F.N 20) and a KHW-10X focusing eyepiece with guide pin, cross-line and 21mm reticle mount. The left eyetube has a graduated diopter for convenient focusing with interpupillary adjustment range of 53-75 mm to adjust, comfortably the distance between your eyes. A 80/20 trinocular beam splitter enables all three ports to operate simultaneously with 80% light directed via the trinouclar port or 100% to the two eyepieces alone.

Focusing includes graduated, coaxial coarse and fine focusing controls with safety stop and rack and pinion focusing condenser mount.

The polarizing stage  is 175mm in diameter, ceramic coated, rotatable with Vernier and 360º graduation. Two stage clips are also included, an analyzer in sliding mount, a first order red compensating plate and 1/4 wave-length test plate. The variable Koehler illumination is powered by a pre-centered 6V 30W halogen lamp. The condenser is a  strain-free achromat, N.A 1.25 Abbe with aperture iris diaphragm, swing-out filter holder and blue clear filter (ø29.8mm).

The Meiji MT9900 is a polarizing microscope ideal for applications such as identifying crystals suspended in liquid, identifying minerals in core samples, detecting defects in semiconductors, and finding stress points in various materlais. It includes a powerful Koehler 30W halogen illuminator for transmitted light.

These microscopes are manufactured under the strict guidelines established under ISO 9001:2000 Standards. They are sold with Meiji Techno's limited lifetime warranty.

The Meiji line of microscopes offers a number of other options. Call our microscope professionals toll free at (877) 409-3556 for information on configuring a microscope to suit your application.
