Summary

The EMZ12-PX stereo microscope combines the extended working distance EMZ-12 zoom stereo microscope body with the taller 10" PX plain stand. The zoom range is 4x-25x with 10x eyepieces although a choice of eyepieces is available.4x to 25x. Binocular or trinocular. Lifetime Limited Warranty.

Microscope Head

The EMZ-12 Series stereo heads offers greater working distances and near vertical illumination with the required FL150/12 and FL150/115 fiber optic illuminator and light guide. It is particularly useful where more working distance is required and for viewing bores, holes and voids. The standard working distance is 185mm with a maximum of 287mm with an auxiliary barlow lens. he field of view is commensurately enlarged to 57mm-9.2mm

The 4x-25x (10x eyepieces) zoom range is parfocal with dual-sided zoom controls. The head is inclined 45° and includes interpupillary adjustment of 54mm-75mm. There are dual +/-5 diopters for convenient individual eye focusing. The head rotates through 360° for flexible viewing positions.

Available in binocular or trinocular format and with click stop detents for precise magnification levels. The trinocular port directs light to the right eyetube and the trinocular tube simultaneously. Please note that a trinocular adapter is required to fit your camera.

Stand

The PX pole stand is an extended working distance pole stand with an FX focus block mounted to a metal base. Standard working distance is 104mm with 10x eyepieces. The focusing block features integrated incident illumination port, dual coarse focus knobs, rack and pinion gearing, a safety clutch with tension adjustment and 55mm of travel. Twin mounting clips position and secure specimens on a 94.5mm reversible black and white stage plate.

Dimensions: Total Height: 280mm (11.02"). Pillar Height: 212mm (8.35"). Base Dimensions: 160mm (6.30") wide by 240mm (9.44") deep.

Illumination

The illumination required for this microscope includes Meiji's FL150/115 21V 150W halogen illuminator with variable intensity and maximum color temperature of 3200°. The single pipe, fiber optic light guide (FL150/12), is 36" long.
