Summary

The Meiji EMZ5-ABZH is a combination of Meiji's best-selling EMZ-5 zoom stereo microscope body and the classic ABZH rigid arm stand with integrated illumination. The microscope offers 7x-45x zoom magnification with 10x eyepieces although you have a choice of eyepieces. Available in binocular or trinocular formats. Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Microscope Head

The EMZ-5 stereo head is by far the most popular Meiji stereo microscope head. It is their workhorse industrial and educational head offering good quality, an affordable price and zero defects. The parfocal zoom range is 7x-45x with dual-sided zoom controls and provides a field of view of 32mm-5.1mm. The working distance is 93mm. The head is inclined 45° and includes interpupillary adjustment of 54mm-75mm. There are dual +/-5 diopters for convenient individual eye focusing. The head rotates through 360° for flexible viewing positions.

Available in binocular or trinocular format and also with click stop detents for precise levels of magnification. The trinocular port directs light to the right eyetube and the trinocular tube simultaneously. Please note that a trinocular adapter is required to fit your camera.

Stand

The Model ABZH is a fixed-arm stand with integrated focusing holder. It provides both transmitted and incident 6V 10W halogen illumination with variable intensity control. Supplied with 94.5mm diameter clear glass stage plate, reversible black and white stage plate and two stage clips. Illuminators may be operated independently or simultaneously.
