Summary
The MT 5210 and MT5310 series of phase contrast microscopes are similar to the MT4000 phase series but with significantly better objective lenses, larger eyepieces and a larger stage. The objectives are semi apochramatic which are better quality than Plan objectives. The eyepieces are Super Widefield High Eyepoint eyepieces F.N.22 and the stage measures a generous 191mm x 126mm. Available in either binocular or trinocular format and with LED or halogen Koehler illumination. Lifetime Limited Warranty.Optics
A Siendentopf head in either binocular or trinocular format is inclined at an ergonomic 30 degrees for more comfortable viewing. They include 10x Super Widefield High Eyepoint eyepieces F.N.22. Optional 15x and 20x eyepieces are available as is a High Eyepoint 10x focusable eyepiece that accepts 25mm reticles. An optional ergonomic head tilts through 10-50 degrees. The DIN Infinity Corrected Optical System (ICOS) includes four Semi Plan Apochramatic Phase Contrast objective lenses (PH4x, PH10x, PH40xS and PH100x oil), set in a ball bearing mounted, quintuple nosepiece.
An 80/20 beam splitter is employed for photomicrography in the trinocular head (100% to eyetubes or 80% to phototube & 20% to the eyetube). Please note that you will need to purchase an appropriate trinocular adapter for your camera.Stage & Focus
A ceramic coated mechanical stage has right-handed (left-handed is available on request), drop-down controls and measures a generous 191mm x 126mm. The range of motion is 100mm(X) x 100mm(Y). There are dual-sided Coaxial focus controls.Condenser & Illumination
Zernike Phase Condenser, NA 1.25 with centerable phase annuli for 10x, 20x, 40x, 100x with brightfield/darkfield stop for 40x objective, set - in quick change dovetail mount. Illumination is either 30W halogen or LED Koehler.Accessories
