The OptixCam Pinnacle OCD-1.4B digital microscope camera offers 1.4 megapixel resolution with a high level of detail though the grey spectrum and, above average refresh rates for a good quality and value fluorescence imaging, microscope camera. Built round the Sony ICx205Al 1/2" CCD sensor, it is designed for low light imaging environments such as fluorescence imaging. Refresh rates for live imaging attain a genuine 15fps at 1360x1024 pixels and up to 30fps at 640x480 pixels. Measuring software is included.OCD Pinnacle Series
The OptixCam Pinnacle Series of microscope cameras all employ high quality CCD sensors for more advanced photomicrography applications.. They stand out for remarkable color resolution as well as a large color palette for improved color resolution and sensitivity. Critically, they are free from the smearing and blur that characterizes other systems in this price range. In addition, the included 0.5x reducing lens makes for an image that is significantly closer to that seen through the eyepieces with the naked eye. Robust documentation and measuring software is included with all the OptixCam cameras as well as four different mounts: C/CS Mount, 23mm eyepiece adapter, 30mm and 30.5mm collars so they will fit almost any microscope. The included software provides simple, accurate and easy-to-use controls for image capture, notation and measuring. File formats include JPG, BMP, TIFF, RAW. Measuring capabilities include length, width, height, thickness, circumference, radius, angles and dot counts while notations can be easily made on any given image. The software also includes auto white balance and color enhancement among other benefits while image capture and storage is intuitive. The software is also fully TWAIN and DirectX compatible, allowing simple integration with a wide range of commercial and scientific imaging software. Moreover, both TWAIN and DirectX plug-ins are independent of the main driver, which allows discreet control of the camera for these applications.Accessories
