The Moticam 1000 is Motic's best selling digital microscope camera. It is an affordable, high resolution imaging solution for those customers who require measuring capability. It has the added benefits of being mountable on most microscopes and outputs a fast live image at 1280x1024 resolution using the Motic Images Plus capture software. You will enjoy clear, detailed color images on your monitor or projector with a minimum of effort.
Flexible Mounting - Included Adapters
The Moticam 1000 thoughtfully includes all of the necessary accessories to attach the camera to a wide range of microscopes. The camera itself is a standard C-mount device, which allows compatibility with many types of high quality compound and stereo microscopes that use an industry standard C-mount connection. It is also compatible with 23mm trinocular tube ports when paired with an appropriate eyepiece, which can be selected at check out. In addition, using the supplied eyepiece adapters you can attach the unit easily and securely to microscopes that do not have a trinocular port, by mounting the unit on top of the standard eyepiece. It even includes a convenient macro stand for easy imaging of small objects without a microscope!
Software
The supplied Motic Images Plus software is a complete imaging suite that includes measurement, analysis and collaboration functions. These functions are useful for educational, industrial, or laboratory imaging. Cross-platform compatibility with both Microsoft Windows and Macintosh OSX makes the Moticam 1000 one of the most versatile and convenient products in our entire product line. It is also fully TWAIN compatible, allowing simple integration with a wide range of commercial and scientific imaging software.
In our opinion, the Moticam 1000 is one of the better value 1.3 megapixel, microscope cameras with stable software and good resolution at an affordable price.
