The Omano OM118-B4S is an upgraded version of the OM118-B4 with a Greenough head and a full, double layered, mechanical stage for optimum slide handling. Otherwise, it has identical optics and features that include four achromatic objective lenses, Abbe 1.25 N.A condenser with iris diaphragm. It is designed to offer good optical quality in a full size microscope, but at lower prices more appropriate for a suffering economy.
The microscope includes many professional features such coaxial coarse/fine focus controls - essential for enjoyable viewing in that the viewer does not need constantly to look up from the microscope in order to adjust the fine focus.
Other features include a mechanical slide holder with drop down coaxial controls, a professional Abbe 1.25 N.A condenser. and 6V20W halogen. Dual diopters for individual eye focusing come standard with 55-75mm interpupillary adjustment.
