The Omano OM118-M4 is the sister microscope to the new OM118-M3 but with four achromatic objectives lenses, corresponding Abbe 1.25 N.A condenser plus a mechanical slide holder for convenient slide handling. It is, in other words, a fuller featured version for those with more microscopy experience.
Full size, the microscope also includes a head turret capable of rotating 360 degrees for convenient viewing, and a coaxial coarse/fine focusing which we believe is an essential prerequisite of modern microscopes. The benefit being that the viewer does not need constantly to look up from the microscope in order to adjust the fine focus.
