Summary
The Omano OM2300S-V3 combines our most popular OM2300S industrial zoom stereo microscope head with the pole/platform V3 stand. It is particularly useful for customers who require additional working distance or for those where a boom stand requires too much table top space. A 10W ring light is included in the price. The OM2300S zoom stereo microscope head has become our de facto, 'Go To' head for our industrial inspection customers. Upgraded in 2010, but with no increase in price, the 2300S provides a solid design with crisp, clean optics beyond our expectations at this price level. The 7X-45X zoom range (6.4:1) is parfocal with dual diopters integrated into the oculars. Interpupillay adjustment range is 55mm-75mm. Standard working distance is 4.5" which increases to 6.5" with the addition of 0.5x auxiliary barlow lens. Three alternative barlows are available: 0.75x, 1.5x and 2.0x. WF10X eyepieces and eyeguards are included. Available in binocular or trinocular format. Trinocular includes a 23.2mm photo tube.Focus & Illumination
Focus controls are both left and right hand side for convenience. A 10W ring light is included and may be upgraded to LED or other lights when adding to cart.Stand
The Omano V3 pole stand's ergonomic design includes beveled leading edges for operator comfort. It features a tall, 12" vertical pole for extended working distances and a 12" x 12" base with rubber feet to protect your worktop. A safety collar and black/white contrast plate is also included.Accessories

Rating "I ordered this microscope for my lab, as I needed a microscope that was capable of placing large objects underneath. The extremely large work space is also very nice to have, as it enables you to slide objects around into and out of view without them falling off of the stand.
The field of view is also great. At 1x10 it is about 2 cm diameter. At 4x10 it is about 0.4 cm. But even more important, is the focal distance. At either setting of magnification, I can fit my entire hand (while holding a tool such as a X-acto knife under the lens to work on the object. This is very nice to have when trying to fix something.
I was disappointed that mine was damaged during shipping (just the base plate and the light bulb), but with one phone call and two emails, I am getting the part replaced.
