MARCH 2010 - The new upgraded OM2300S stereo zoom microscope head finally replaces our workhorse OM2300 of the past ten years. With the same 7x-45x zoom range, the OM2300S has better design and optics - but we are maintaining the old pricing! The new head has a 76mm focus block and included with the V10 is a hanging bar and locking bracket. The hanging bar allows for viewing a specimen from any sngle - simply select the angle and secure the locking bracket.
The V10 is an upgrade over the JW11 single arm boom stand. It is more solid while also featuring an useful 4", adjustbale extension bar at the tip of the boom arm. This extension bar enables the user, with eyes down, to easily adjust the horizontal extension of the boom. In other words, there is no need to release the entire bar in order to make small adjustments.
The V10 boom stand is heavy-duty, able to withstand harsh industrial environments. It is constructed of a sturdy table base and tubular post that allows for maximum efficiency when working with a variety of objects or specimens. Simply push the microscope head out of the way to increase your working area.
