The Omano OM2300/V4 stereo microscope is the sister microscope to the OM2300/V3. It is has a larger V4 base that measures 17" x 14" and a taller pole at 18" for viewing larger specimens.
Microscope Configuration
The 2300 V4 is designed with our electronics inspection customers in mind, combining our popular Omano 2300 microscope head (or 3300 trinocular) with the stability and increased working distance capabillities of the new V4 base. The microscope is sold with a 10W fluorescent light ring and is able to be upgraded to the 12W light ring for added brightness.

Magnification
The microscope offers 7x-45x magnification with the standard WF 10X eyepieces although optional eyepieces (15x, 20x, 25x) can increase the range up to 112.5x or even 225x with the addition of a 2.0x Barlow lens. In its standard configuration, the microscope provides 3.75" vertical workspace. Many customers employ a 0.5x Barlow lens that increases the workspace to 6.0" while a 0.3x Barlow lens will achieve a maximum of 11.0" workspace.
Microscope Base
The V3 base is a pleasing and useful design. With bevelled leading corner edges for operational comfort, the base dimensions are 12" x 12" with effective useable area of 12" x 9.0". The vertical pole is 12" high. The shipping weight of the microscope is 18lbs.
