The Omano Engraver's microscope was originally configured at the suggestion of renowned U.S. engraver Steve Lindsay. Equivalent to Olympus optical quality, this microscope has been extremely popular with engravers looking for a happy balance between good quality optics and affordability.
Microscope Configuration
It combines the finest Omano OM99 stereo, zoom microscope (6.5x-45x) with the solidity and versatility of the V7 boom base. With the ability to remove part of the articulating arm, the V7 base is versatile without compromising stability. The Lindsay also includes a 12-watt ring light, a head rest and 0.75x Barlow lens.
NOTE:
Head rest does not work with trinocular version and is therefore, not included.
The system offers 6.5x-45x stereo, zoom magnification and has excellent image clarity and function with 1:7 ratio. As with its trinocular sister (OM99TV7), its ergonomic design ensures a natural viewing posture.
For applications requiring flexible illumination, our popular 64 LED ring light is available for greater lighting sensitivity and control.
Artculating Boom Stand
The articulating boom is well-balanced with smooth, controlled movement over an extended area. Overall, the system permits over 26 inches in
height and 28 inches in horizontal extension.
Just to let you know - my microscope arrived this morning. I am so relieved and I would like to thank you ever so much for your patience and your help. I have already unpacked everything and started using the scope this afternoon. I cannot believe the clarity and how this scope gives me so much detail. In a statement: Where has this been all my life? This microscope is unbelievable and is going to give me so much pleasure to use and it will enable me to do my engravings so much easier and faster.
