NEW - APRIL 2010! TRIPLE-HEADED TEACHING MICROSCOPE

  • Three heads for simultaneous viewing
  • Four achromatic objective lenses
  • Coaxial focusing controls for ease of use
  • Rack & Pinion for damage prevention
  • Halogen Illumination

Owing to increasing demand for multi-headed teaching microscopes, we are introducing the Omano OMTM495 triple header as a useful solution between our OMTM368 (two heads) and OMTM5501 (5 heads). The microscope features a binocular head for the teacher and two monocular heads for students. Every eyepiece has a diopter to ensure convenient focusing adjustments for all three viewers. This is particularly important on multi-headed microscopes where individuals have differing eyesight.

The optical system is powered by WF10x eyepieces and four achromatic objectives: 4x, 10x, 40xS and 100xS oil immersion. Illumination is integrated and features a CE approved, 110V/6V 20W halogen with a spare bulb included. The condenser is 1.25 N.A Abbe with iris diaphragm; both green and blue filters are included as standard. The microscope also features coaxial coarse/fine focus controls with rack stop to prevent slide damage.

There is a single layer mechanical stage with drop down, right hand, coaxial controls. The stage measures 124mm x 153mm with a moving range of 70mm x 50mm. Accessories include spare bulb, fuse, immersion oil and blue and green filters.
