A delightful curiosity of science to capture the imagination of all ages, this little gem has ancient properties which produce a natural spin bias. Spin it in one direction and it will continue. OPTIONAL Items
The Omano mechanical slide holder is a nicely crafted, all-metal mechanical slide holder that permits precise and smooth movement when using your microscope at a higher power, specifically when using the 40x and 100x objective.
At these higher magnifications, it is difficult to maintain precise control when moving a slide with fingers alone, and we do recommend that you also purchase this mechanical slide holder.
The mechanical stage makes it effortless to view and search a specimen at this magnification because it offers controlled movement of the slide. It is not necessary to use your fingers to adjust the slide, which can alter specimen viewing, especially when using immersion oil. The X and Y axis travel is full and even. Knurled knobs allow easy control for accurate positioning. Graduated measurements along both X/Y axis provide precise location settings for reference.
