Omano Summit OCS-V3 Digital Inspection System

Summary

The OCS-V3 video inspection system includes a choice of four Summit Series PC/MAC compatible digital microscope cameras (1.3MP, 3.1MP, 5.0MP or 10.0MP) combined with a 7x-45x monocular zoom microscope and the ergonomic V3 platform stand. The microscope includes click stops (detents) for accurate magnification levels and a 0.5x auxiliary barlow lens to improve the working distance to over 6.5".

To round out the complete digital inspection system, we have included a shadow free, 10W fluorescent ring light. Simply capture any QC defects on your computer and email them to relevant parties.

Zoom Lens

The OM10-K monocular zoom microscope is designed for use with a digital microscope. It provides 7x-45x zoom magnification with detent click stops on the zoom range. Detents enable the viewer to return to precisely the same level of magnification as previously used. Simply click back to the desired setting. A 0.5x barlow lens is added to the package in order to double the working distance to over 6.5". By the same token, the barlow lens halves the magnification power.

Microscope Camera

Choose from any one of four OptixCam Summit Series digital microscope cameras. These Summit Series microscope cameras are PC/MAC compatible and use the same housing design and software, but with different size sensors. They stand out for remarkable color resolution as well as a large color palette for improved color resolution and sensitivity. Critically, they are free from the smearing and blur that characterizes other systems in this price range. In addition, the included 0.5x reducing lens makes for an image that is significantly closer to that seen through the eyepieces with the naked eye.

Robust documentation and measuring software is included with all the OptixCam cameras as well as four different mounts: C/CS Mount, 23mm eyepiece adapter, 30mm and 30.5mm collars so they will fit almost any microscope. Other features include fast refresh rates, auto/ manual exposure and white balance control, full screen live imaging, time lapse photography and user-friendly, image capture.

In short, these microscope cameras offer a well-designed package at an affordable price. We recommend them for any standard photomicrography application where the primary requirements are image capture and documentation

Software

The included software provides simple, accurate and easy-to-use controls for image capture, notation and measuring. Measuring capabilities include length, width, height, thickness, circumference, radius, angles and dot counts while notations can be easily made on any given image. The software also includes auto white balance and color enhancement among other benefits while image capture and storage is intuitive.

The software is also fully TWAIN and DirectX compatible, allowing simple integration with a wide range of commercial and scientific imaging software. Moreover, both TWAIN and DirectX plug-ins are independent of the main driver, which allows discreet control of the camera for these applications. Stand

The Omano V3 pole stand's ergonomic design includes beveled leading edges for operator comfort. It features a tall, 12" vertical pole for extended working distances and a 12" x 12" base with rubber feet to protect your worktop. A safety collar and black/white contrast plate is also included. Included focus block and choice of optional illumination upgrades.

Please note the monitor is not included.
