The OptixCam Pinnacle Series OCD-3.3ICE is the Peltier cooled sister to the OCD-3.3. With the same research grade, Sony sensor, the OCD-3.3ICE is Peltier cooled and has an integrated micro fan that is powered through a separate AC power source. Peltier cooling gives this camera excellent low light capability, delivering images with low noise even at long exposures. It includes a protective aluminum case with mini-cell foam interior.

PINNACLE SERIES
Overall, the Pinnacle series boast good quality images and are a useful addition to the OptixCam range of microscope cameras. They provide accurate color resolution as well as a large color palette for improved color resolution and sensitivity - while maintaining budget-friendly prices..  Robust measuring software, fast refresh rates, full screen live imaging and user-friendly, image capture round out the embedded features.

Finally, with four included mounts (C-Mount, C-Mount adapter for a 23.2mm eyepiece port, 30mm, 30.5mm collars for eyepiece ports), these cameras provide terrific flexibility in that they will fit almost any microscope.

OptixCam Pinnacle OCD-3.3 ICE Color
The OptixCam Pinnacle 3.3MP ICE camera is based around a Peltier-Cooled, Sony ICX412AQ 1/1.8 inch color sensor with a 2.5 frames/second refresh rate for high resolution live imaging at 2080x1536 pixels and higher refresh rates available in binning resolutions. Critically, they are free from the smearing and motion blur that characterizes other systems in this price range. 

OC View Software
The OCView software provides simple, accurate and easy-to-use controls for image capture, notation and measuring. Measuring capabilities include length, width, height, thickness, circumference, radius, angles and dot counts while notations can be easily made on any given image. The software also includes auto white balance and color enhancement among other benefits while image capture and storage is intuitive.

The software is also fully TWAIN and DirectX compatible, allowing simple integration with a wide range of commercial and scientific imaging software. Moreover, both TWAIN and DirectX plug-ins are independent of the main driver, which allows discreet control of the camera for these applications.

Accessories
All OptixCam Pinnacle Series microscope cameras include a range of thoughtful accessories. These include a calibration slide, C-Mount adapter for a smooth 23.2mm eyepiece port plus two collars to fit 30mm and 30.5mm eyepiece ports.
