OptixCam Summit 5.0 Megapixel
The OptixCam Summit 5.0megapixel includes a Micron MT9P001 1/2.5 inch sensor with a genuine 8 frames/second refresh rate for live imaging at 2592 X 1944 pixels and up to 30 frames/second at 640x480 pixels. Critically, they are free from the smearing and blur that characterizes other systems in this price range.

OC View Software
The OCView software provides simple, accurate and easy-to-use controls for image capture, notation and measuring. An included slide micrometer and step-by-step calibration instructions make for quick and easy calibration at a given magnification level. Simply center the calibration slide under your desired objective and bring it into sharp focus. Capture and save the image, then follow the calibration steps found under Measure / Calibrate on the Image Process menu.

Measuring capabilities include length, width, height, thickness, circumference, radius, angles and dot counts while notations can be easily made on any given image. The software also includes auto white balance, color enhancement and intuitive image capture and storage, among other benefits.

The software is also fully TWAIN and DirectX compatible, allowing simple integration with a wide range of commercial and scientific imaging software. Moreover, both TWAIN and DirectX plug-ins are independent of the main driver, which allows discreet control of the camera for these applications.
