OptixCam Matrix SXGA Microscope Camera

We are excited about this camera since, in our opinion, it marks a significant improvement over the traditional XGA cameras currently found on the market, while also being offered at more affordable prices.

The camera has excellent color resolution and four selectable output resolution settings that enable the output to be optimized to match the resolution of the display monitor. The four output resolution settings include wide screen native output (1440 x 900 and a maximum output resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels). Alternate resolution settings include 1280x1024 and 1024x768. System does not include monitor.

The Matrix SXGA also includes more useful functions including

•    Auto white balance
•    Low Lux setting for low light situations
•    Negative function for greater contrast
•    Freeze Frame when individual defects need to be shown to colleagues

Auto-exposure has been a serious omission from lower resolution XGA products, which is why we have refrained from introducing such a camera until now.

It is professionally designed with a robust metal housing, C/CS Mount and a useful tripod screw.It provides a good, affordable solution for QC and inspection applications while also offering an economical solution for schools and colleges.

Zoom Microscope + Click Stops
The Omano OM10 zoom microscope provides 7x-45x zoom range with coarse/fine focus control and click stops. The benefit of click stops is that an operator can return to the exact same level of magnification for different specimens, which makes comparisons easier. The microscope also includes a 0.5x auxiliary Barlow lens to enable greater working distance - up to 6.75".

The Omano JW11 microscope base is a popular workhorse. It is a simple, soild and cost-effective boom stand that is consistently popular with our electronics inspection customers who require an affordable stand that can bear the rigors of mulitiple daily users on a factory line.

V10 Boom Microscope Stand
The V10 is a single arm stand that is popular owing to a 21/2" extension bar that allows more convenient movements of the microscope body. Instead of having to shift the entire horizontal arm in order to achieve a small shift in head position, simply turn the extension bar control knob at the end of the arm. The stand includes a solid metal, hanging bar that permits unlimited tilting of the microscope head. A neat feature on the hanging bar is a spring-loaded adjustment lever that enables the lever to be moved out of the way without releasing the pre-set position of the microscope head.

V15 Boom Microscope Stand
The V15 is our premium stand, characterized by 'continuous glide', ball-bearing motion that is effortless. It also includes several thoughtful features not seen on comparable products: a solid metal hanging bar that permits unlimited tilting angles of the microscope head; a retaining collar for safety; a rubber back stop to protect the cross bar and a neat, spring-loaded adjustment lever on the hanging bar that enables the lever to be moved out of the way without releasing the pre-set position of the microscope head.
