Prompt shipping is part of our commitment to providing good customer service. Over 90% of our products ship the same day and, where we do not have adequate inventory, we encourage our suppliers to ship quickly. All orders are shipped at cost. We commit never to make a profit off shipping. Typically, we ship via UPS, but please call if you wish to use your own shipping company or USPS.
Orders must be placed by 3:00pm Eastern Time to ship the same day.
International Shipping: We ship to all countries where UPS or USPS services are available. Please note that all custom and brokerage fees levied on products imported into the country of destination are the responsibility of the recipient. Such fees/duties are NOT included in our pricing.
Note: All delivery times are based on information provided by our carriers: UPS, FedEx and the USPS. We cannot be held responsible for shipping delays that may commonly occur with these carriers in their normal course of business.
We will refund 100% of the purchase price of any product returned within 25 days of purchase - less actual shipping costs plus a $25 handling fee. Products must be returned in their original packaging in NEW condition within 25 days of purchase as shipped from our facility. Boxes, packing materials, wrappers, cartons, instruction manuals and products must be in their ORIGINAL condition without markings, tape, folds or defacing. Products returned in other than new condition will be subject to a 15% minimum restocking fee. Products returned in damaged or unacceptable condition will be returned to the customer without exchange. Condition will be assessed at the discretion of The Microscope Store, LLC.
Please note that all sales of products that are special ordered on behalf of customers are final. No returns of such special ordered products will be accepted and no refunds can be made.

All products returned for repair require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Please call us for a RMA on (877) 409-3556.
If the product is not covered by warranty, a flat fee of $99 will be charged to assess and repair the microscope plus the cost of any parts required and shipping. Typically, repairs will be executed within three weeks of receiving the product although the exact timing will vary according to the complexity of the repairs, any requirement to order spare parts and the volume of repair work in hand at any given time.
The customer is responsible for all shipping costs at standard rates quoted to us by our carrier.
