Description

The OM185 is a monocular dissection microscope designed for elementary school students and hobbyists who require a solid microscope for use in the field. It includes 20x fixed magnification in a simple design that uses ambient light and that is built to withstand the rigors of little hands and elbows. The OM185 is a sturdy microscope with all-metal construction. The microscope head rotates 360° so larger specimens can be viewed off-stage. A slip clutch on the rack and pinion focusing prevents damage from over enthusiastic focusing while a locked eyepiece reduces the risk of loss.

The microscope employs ambient light so is ideal for use outdoors or inside with the aid of artificial light.
