Omano OMXTL-JW11 Zoom Stereo Boom Microscope

Summary

The OMXTL-JW11 pairs our mid-range XTL stereo microscope head with the workhorse single arm JW11 boom stand for an affordable microscope with premium optics. Zoom magnification is 6.5x-45x with included WF10x eyepieces and eyecups. Also included is a 12W fluorescent light ring. Lifetime Limited Warranty.

Optics

The Omano OMXTL is our mid-range 6.5X-45X zoom stereo, microscope body with parfocal focusing. With a four prism design, the optical quality lies between the OM2300S and the OM99 microscope bodies. It includes WF10X eyepieces and eye guards with dual diopters integrated into the eye tubes for individual eye adjustment. Interpupillary adjustment range is 55mm-75mm.

Standard working distance is 3.25" which doubles with the addition of a 0.5x auxiliary barlow lens. Optional barlow lenses include 0.3x, 0.4x, 0.5x, 0.75x, 1.0x and 2.0x. Available in binocular or trinocular format. The trinocular head includes a 23mm smooth camera tube.

Focus & Illumination

Rack and pinion focus includes dual right and left hand controls for convenience. A 12W fluorescent ring light for shadow-free illumination is included in the price and can be upgraded to LED or other light when adding the microscope to you shopping cart.

Stand

The Omano JW11 boom stand has been a workhorse and well-proven Omano stand for over ten years. Strong and affordable, it is a single arm stand with an included 84mm focus block. The horizontal arm extension is 20" including the microscope head. The pole is 17" tall with an effective useable height of 12". The stand weighs 32lbs.
