    The Motic new BA310 Elite Series is built for the performance demands of colleges, universities and medical school markets, setting a new price-performance standard for optical quality. The new BA310 Elite series introduces innovative features like second-generation EC Plan optics, a new rackless stage movement and an advanced, modular illumination design offering halogen/LED interchangeability. Built-in Koehler illumination, a 30-degree inclined Siedentopf binocular or trinocular head, reversed quintuple nosepiece and 10X Widefield eyepieces round out an exceptional system. Available in Halogen, LED (4500K), or LED (6000K) with completely interchangeable illumination, this new microscope series brings versatility and function to a wide range of education and professional applications.

    Optics

    The optical system is designed around a new generation of Color Corrected Infinity System EC Plan Achromatic objectives (4x, 10x, 40xS and 100xS Oil) set in a reversed quintuple nosepiece. These new lenses are multilayer-coated for improved color fidelity and image enhancement. The EC Plan objectives also offer greatly increased working distances, rewarding student efforts with contaminant-free lenses and sharp visual and digital results.

    Stage & Focus

    A new rackless stage enables effortless positioning of the XY movement without gear rack interference. The large, 180mm x 170mm double-layered mechanical surface incorporates a new spring-loaded specimen holder for a soft, yet secure grip on the slide, and ergonomic drop-down coaxial controls for convenient 'eyes down' operation. The stage range of movement is 80mm x 55mm.

    Focusing includes high quality rack and pinion mechanics for longer life and coaxial coarse/fine focus controls for easier focusing. The fine focus scale value is 0.002mm. The dimmer switch is conveniently located next to the right hand control, allowing 'eyes down' operation. Safety features include a rack stop to ensure that the stage does not impact and damage the objectives or slides, and a slip clutch minimizes the risk of damage due to over-extension.

    Illumination

    Our new Motic Elite series comes standard with a 6V/30W Halogen Koehler lamp which also accepts a new 3W LED module which can be inserted in place of the bulb. You can order Halogen or two LED color temperature options (4500K and 6000K) for your base preference prior to checkout. To convert your existing Halogen unit to LED, simply order the desired color temperature module from the options available. A professional focus-able Abbe 1.25/0.90 NA condenser with iris diaphragm and filter slot for optimal adjustments, completes this very capable system.
