Returns are simple. We do not charge administrative or restocking fees on any product returned within 30 days. Simply complete and email our Return Merchandise Authority (RMA) and we will refund 100% of the purchase price of any product returned within 30 days of purchase less actual shipping costs. Products must be returned in their original packaging in NEW condition within 30 days of purchase.
Boxes, packing materials, wrappers, cartons, instruction manuals and products must be in their ORIGINAL condition without markings, tape, folds or defacing. Products returned in other than new condition will be subject to a 15% minimum restocking fee. Products returned in damaged or unacceptable condition will be returned to the customer without exchange. Condition will be assessed at the absolute discretion of The Microscope Store, LLC.
All sales of products that are close-out specials, or special ordered on behalf of customers are final. No returns of such close-out or special ordered products will be accepted and no refunds can be made.
NON-WARRANTY REPAIRS All products returned for repair require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Please call us for a RMA on (877) 409-3556. If the product is not covered by warranty, a minimum fee of $99 will be charged to assess and repair the microscope plus the cost of any parts required and shipping.
Typically, repairs will be executed within three weeks of receiving the product although the exact timing will vary according to the complexity of the repairs, any requirement to order spare parts and the volume of repair work in hand at any given time. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs at standard rates quoted to us by our carrier.
