MC60T/70T BF Transmitted Light Measuring Microscope

Microscope

The Meiji MC-60 series microscope line delivers top-line brightfield/darkfield measuring and simple polarization performance. Semi Plan Epi objectives, 150W illumination and optional 2-axis and 3-axis electronic digital readouts complete these precision inspection systems.   

The optical heart of the MC-60 features SWF10X eyepieces (with cross line reticle and guide pin) and Semi Plan Epi brightfield/darkfield objectives (5x, 10x, 20x, 50x) set in a smooth, ball bearing-driven quintuple nosepiece.

The viewing head is inclined 30 degrees for comfort and includes inter-pupillary adjustment of 53-75mm and graduated diopter settings on the left eye tube. Incident illumination is provided by a powerful, fiber optic, 150W Koehler halogen illuminator with sliding rotatable polarizer and an auto voltage-sensing transformer for added dependability.  

For digital imagery work, an optional trinocular head features a sliding beam splitter which directs 100% of the light to the eyepieces or 80% to the trinocular port and 20% to the right eyepiece. The integrated top-mounted camera port and available adapters allow image capture from conventional 35mm, CCD and CMOS digital cameras.

Illumination

Full vertical Koehler illumination is standard, powered by a 21V 150W halogen lamp (available as either 110/120V or 220/230V). The lamp includes a sliding rotatable polarizer and a filter set that includes blue clear, green clear, neutral density (ND8), and polarizing filters in metal mounts. An included port accepts a flexible, 914mm (36 in.) single-arm fiber-optic light guide (included).

Base

The 150mm x 150mm ceramic-coated, transmitted light stage offers 50mm of X-Y movement and mounting for optional Mitutoyo Digimatic digital micrometers for precision measuring without complex equipment setup. The stage can easily be converted from transmitted light to reflected light simply by removing the light guide from the stage and inserting it into the vertical illuminator tube.

Accessories include a heavy-duty stand with vertical pillar, a port to accept the FL150/12 flexible fiber optic light guide and clear blue, green and neutral density filters in metal mounts.
