Microscope Head The EMZ-5 stereo head is by far the most popular Meiji stereo microscope head. It is an excellent head for professional use such as jewelry inspection, at an affordable price and with zero defects. The parfocal zoom range is 7x-45x (10x eyepieces) with dual-sided zoom controls and provides a field of view of 32mm-5.1mm. The working distance is 93mm. The head is inclined 45° and includes interpupillary adjustment of 54mm-75mm. There are dual +/-5 diopters for convenient individual eye focusing. The head rotates through 360° for flexible viewing positions.
A selection of super widefield eyepieces ranges from 5x-30x for magnification from 3.5x-135x. Available in binocular or trinocular format and also with click stop detents for precise levels of magnification. The trinocular port directs light to the right eyetube and the trinocular tube simultaneously. Please note that a trinocular adapter is required to fit your camera.
