The Meiji EMZ8TR-V7 is a combination of Meiji's best-selling EMZ-8TR zoom stereo trinocular microscope head and the articulating-arm Omano V7 boom stand. It is a highly versatile and affordable Meiji industrial inspection microscope system. Available in binocular or trinocular with choice of eyepieces. Limited Lifetime Warranty.
The EMZ-8TR is Meiji's most popular trinocular zoom stereo microscope head. It is to trinocular what the EMZ-5 is to binocular. A good quality workhorse for industry ad education that can be relied on to last a lifetime with zero defects.
The parfocal zoom range is 7x-45x (10x eyepieces) with dual-sided zoom controls. The field of view is 32mm-5.1mm with 10x eyepieces and the standard working distance is marginally longer then the EMZ5 at 104mm. The head is inclined 45° and includes interpupillary adjustment of 54mm-75mm. There are dual +/-5 diopters for convenient individual eye focusing. The head rotates through 360° for flexible viewing positions.
Available in trinocular format and also with click stop detents for precise levels of magnification. The trinocular port directs light to the right eyetube and the trinocular tube simultaneously. Please note that a trinocular adapter is required to fit your camera.
The V7 articulating boom base weighs 57 lbs. yet folds into a 13 x 13" space when not in use. Well-balanced, stable with smooth, controlled movement, the arm's first link can be removed to achieve even greater stability. The pole stands 21" high and the spring-powered articulating arm has an effective horizontal extension of 35". An 84mm focus block and a 25mm hanging bar are included. The stand is also available with a robust U-Clamp attachment which can securely fasten to workbenches up to 2.5 inches thick.
As with most Omano boom stands, a hanging bar is included that enables angled viewing positions. The hanging bar bracket is spring-loaded so that the lever can be moved out of the way without having to release the pre-set position of the microscope head.
For convenience we offer a variety of ring lights and auxiliary barlow lenses with this microscope. Please call for alternative illumination solutions.
