Summit K2 Series Features
The brand new OptixCam Summit K2 Series cameras represent the latest innovation in digital microscopy, built to meet the documentation demands of routine life science, industrial and educational applications at very competitive price-points. Built around the proven Aptina MT9T001 CMOS color sensor, they share a broad dynamic range, progressive scan and 12-bit parallel resolution for accurate color reproduction and optimal image quality. All SK2 series cameras are CE and FCC certified.
Features
The new OptixCam Summit K2 Series digital microscope camera is specifically designed as a cost-effective and versatile solution for life science researchers, healthcare professionals, industrial inspectors and many other professional disciplines. Choose from USB2.0 or High-Speed USB3.0 models ranging from 1.3MP to 5.0MP resolution. Windows PC and MAC users benefit from easy-to-use feature-rich software, accurate color, clarity and image detail, while low noise USB 2.0 data transfer maximizes workflow and productivity.
Mounting & Controls
All Summit K2 microscope cameras come with a standard C-mount and share a rugged aluminum alloy body fitted with different size Aptina CMOS sensors depending on the model. Advanced documentation and measuring software is included along with a C-mount adapter with 23mm smooth bore and 0.5X reducing lens to more closely match the captured image with the eyepiece view. Optional focusing lenses, calibration slide and 30mm and 30.5mm collars are available.
Microscope Zoom Lens
The VIDZ-650 marks a significant step up in quality with truly excellent definition, resolution and flexibility. It is well-suited to industrial inspection applications where higher resolution and clarity are required, but without the expense of a Navitar lens. The lens is entirely configurable with optional objective and Barlow lenses, illumination, cameras, adapters and stands. Each configuration is built round the high quality 6x-50x zoom magnification with 1x objective lens and 1x focusable C/CS Mount. Simply choose your options and then add to cart or call us to discuss further customizations such as apochromatic objective lenses or metallurgical configurations.
Stand
The Omano V3 pole stand's ergonomic design includes beveled leading edges for operator comfort. It features a tall, 12" vertical pole for extended working distances and a 12" x 12" base with rubber feet to protect your worktop. A safety collar and black/white contrast plate is also included.
