Acrobat Heavy Duty Articulating Boom Stand with 84mm Ring

The GRS Acrobat is a heavy-duty articulating arm stand built for demanding scientific and industrial applications. The arms extend outward 30 inches horizontally and 34 inches vertically, yet they fold into a compact space when not in use. Well-balanced and stable with smooth, controlled movement, it has an 84mm ring size and dual articulating arms with individual position locks and friction adjustment. Spring power and machined bearings allow for easy repositioning and each arm can be independently locked in place for added rigidity.

A hanging bar and pivot joint allows for angled viewing from the microscope, and an included headrest helps minimize neck pain and fatigue during extended observation periods. The hanging bar lever is also spring-loaded and can move out of the way without having to release the pre-set tension of the coarse adjustment focus block. NOTE: If using a Meiji EMZ8TR microscope, a spacer (ACRO-SK) will be required.

The arm assembly mounts to a vertical post and can be raised or lowered as needed, then secured in place with a safety collar. The 8" x 5.5" base plate mounts to a wood top bench with included 1 1/2" wood screws or it can be bolted to a metal top bench with optional 10-32 flat head bolts (not included).
