The EMZ-8TR is Meiji's most popular trinocular, stereo microscope head. It is their workhorse industrial and educational head offering good quality, an affordable price and zero defects. The parfocal zoom range is 7x-45x with dual-sided zoom controls and provides a field of view of 32mm-5.1mm. The working distance is 93mm. The head is inclined 45° and includes interpupillary adjustment of 54mm-75mm. There are dual +/-5 diopters for convenient individual eye focusing. The head rotates through 360° for flexible viewing positions and has the useful feature of enabling simultaneous use of both the right eyepiece and trincoular port.
Please note that headrest cannot be used with this trinocular configuration.
The GRS Acrobat is a heavy-duty articulating arm stand built for demanding scientific and industrial applications. The arms extend outward 30 inches horizontally and 34 inches vertically, yet they fold into a compact space when not in use. Well-balanced and stable with smooth, controlled movement, it has dual articulating arms with individual position locks and friction adjustment. Spring power and machined bearings allow for easy repositioning and each arm can be independently locked in place for added rigidity. The stand is intended to bolt to a suitable wood top or metal top workbench and includes a headrest and an 84mm focus ring to fit any EMZ stereo head. NOTE: The GRS stand will not work with the trinocular version of the EMZ5 head.
For convenience we offer a variety of ring lights and auxiliary barlow lenses with this microscope. Please call for alternative illumination solutions.
