The MT4000 series are Meiji's new series of biological microscopes complete with infinity corrected optics and plan objectives (4x, 10x, S40x, S100x oil). They are available with either 30W halogen or LED lighting and include KHW 10x compensating eyepieces. The eyepieces have a 21mm reticle mount. There is a graduated diopter on the left eyetube which combines with interpupillary adjustment of 53-75 mm for convenient focusing. The microscope has an inverted image.
Additionally, the microscope is available in trinocular format with a beam splitter so that you can operate the trinocular port and right eyetube simultaneously - a useful attribute when using a digital microscope camera. When in use, the beam splitter divides light 80/20 in favor of the trinocular port.
In addition, this line of Meiji microscopes is ergonomically correct, with lower placement of the coaxial controls, providing increased comfort.
These microscopes are manufactured under the strict guidelines established under ISO 9001:2000 Standards. They are sold with Meiji Techno's limited lifetime warranty.
