The new Meiji MT-93 series educational microscope brings a modern, ergonomic design to the advanced academic and teaching classroom at a very competitive price-point. These easy-to-use, competitively-priced microscopes feature Meiji Achromat optical quality and bright, 3W LED illumination to help students maximize their learning experience. They are ideal for identifying crystals, fibers or minerals in core samples, or detecting defects in semiconductors and a host of other specialized applications.
The MT-93 microscope features a binocular head with the ocular inclined at a comfortable 30° viewing angle. The optical system starts with DIN 10X WF eyepieces and includes four Achromatic objectives (4X, 10X, S40X, S100X) set in a reverse-facing ball-bearing-mounted nosepiece for ease of operation. All optical components are treated with an anti-bacterial agent to prevent buildup of mildew.
Stage & Focus
The ceramic-coated, rotatable flat top stage measures 135mm in diameter and features two stage clips for secure sample placement. Movement is controlled by coaxial coarse-fine focus knobs with safety stop, friction adjustment and graduations to 2-micron precision.
Condenser & Illumination
An Abbe 1.25 NA Condenser with height adjustment is included, along with a swing-in analyzer and built-in rotatable polarizer. 3W LED variable illumination ensures a shadow-free environment for observation.
