Summary

The Meiji EMZ13-PLS2 is a combination of Meiji's best-selling EMZ-13 zoom stereo microscope body and the narrower PLS2 pole stand. Dual variable LED illumination is integrated. Available in binocular or trinocular with choice of eyepieces. Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Microscope Head

The EMZ-13 Series stereo heads offers a greater zoom magnification range than other EMZ microscope heads. The parfocal zoom range is 1.0x-7.0x for 10x-70x magnification with 10x eyepieces. As a result, the working distance is marginally lower than other heads at 90mm with a field of view range from 23mm-3.2mm with 10x eyepieces. An optional auxiliary barlow lens can increase the working distance to a maximum of 230mm. The head is inclined 45° and includes interpupillary adjustment of 54mm-75mm. There are dual +/-5 diopters for convenient individual eye focusing. The head rotates through 360° for flexible viewing positions.

Stand

The PLS2 is a narrower pole stand with 5W incident and transmitted light LED illumination, coarse focusing holder, dual variable LED intensity controls, glass stage plate, milk white filter, two stage clips, and power cord. Automatic voltage(100V to 240V) sensing power supply.
