Summary
Meiji's ML9000 series of polarizing microscopes offer a more cost effective alternative to the newer infinity corrected optics of the MT9000 series. The specific design of the Bertrand Lens enables extra bright and high interference figures, making them ideal for orthoscopic and conoscopic observation. Available in monocular, binocular or trinocular, they include three semi plan objectives, rotatable polarizer and stage and Koehler 5W LED illumination. Lifetime Limited Warranty.Optics
Monocular, binocular or trinocular viewing heads are available in the ML9000 series, all inclined at 30° for viewing comfort. They employ a high transmission prism system for higher quality optics. The binocular and trinocular heads include a dovetail slide for interpupillary adjustments and a single diopter for individual eye focusing. Eyepiece(s) are HWF10x with one slotted for orientation of a cross-line eyepiece (inc. monocular). Three strain free plan polarizing objecetive lenses are included: 4x, 10x, 40xS set in a ball-bearing mounted, quadruple nosepiece. Three objectives are centerable, one is fixed. The trinocular head includes a vertical phototube with an 80%/20% beam-splitter. Please note that you will require an adapter appropriate for your camera
Polarizer
The polarizer is in a swing-out click/clamp, fully rotatable with click stops at 0° and 90°. Both the Analyzer and Bertrand Lens are in sliding mounts with E-W insertion. The Bertrand Lens has a field limiting stop. The slide opening in the limb accepts DIN standard 20mm x 6mm compensators and a Mica 1/4 wave plate and first order red plate are included.Condenser & illumination
The condenser is an Abbe 1.25 N.A with iris diaphragm, filter holder and blue filter. Koehler Illumination is pre-centered 115V (or 220V) 5W LED.Accessories
