Summary
The new MT-420 Series Advanced Student microscope is designed for the smaller laboratory, medical school, veterinary clinic or physician’s office. With Japanese build quality, full Plan objectives in an infinity corrected optical system, the MT-420 is made for laboratory applications at a fraction of the price of competing microscope brands.
Optics
The standard configuration includes an infinity corrected optical system with four Plan objective lenses (4X, 10X, 40X, 100X) set in a quadruple reversed nosepiece. Two SWF10x/20 eyepieces are also included. All optical components are anti-fungal treated.
Stage & Focusing
The MT-420 features a 140mm x 132mm mechanical stage with 75mm x 50mm range of movement. Coaxial coarse and fine focusing includes 2 µm precision tuning, 200 graduations, friction adjustment, rack stop to prevent slide and objective damage and 22 mm travel range.
Condenser & Illumination
The condenser is a height adjustable Abbe N.A. 1.25 condenser with iris diaphragm and filter holder. 3W variable LED illumination is supplied by an auto-voltage-sensing unit (100V-240V) and employs proprietary new technology, rated for 25,000 hours of service life.
